在国外有大学和学院之分吗？
谢邀 虽然我在英国，但一般把大学理解为university， 只有硕士以下（包括硕士）的叫college. 但有的学校会同时拥有college和university的称号比如剑桥，它就有3个校区，分别有两个学院和一个大学。
1、The University of Cambridge (Cambridge， UK) 剑桥大学(英国剑桥) The college is the main academic building and university campus on the site of what was originally University College (1209)， one of the four original colleges at Cambridge. 这是剑桥的主体大楼，原先为University College（1209年建），是剑桥大学的四个原始学院之一。
2、The Open University in Milton Keynes 开放大学(迈尔顿凯茵分校) This is a modern ‘virtual’ university， with all courses being delivered by video-conferencing and e-learning techniques. It is open to students worldwide but most are based in the United Kingdom.
