关于How I get it.我们可以这么想：小时候父母给我们讲故事，我们看动画片以及后来的电视，电影里，总会有各类角色出现。我们看到什么，喜欢什么，就会自己去找相关的一切。这个过程就可以引申为大家是通过什么渠道认识某人的。比如：新闻，报纸，网上或是从朋友口中，媒体上等。这样我们就可以这样表达：
I first met him from the film he acted ten years ago. He was so handsome， that I fell in love with him at once. After that， I kept on tracking him through various entertainment newspapers and TV stations.
I heard about him from my American friends last summer， when I had the chance to go to the U.S to study. And soon I began to like him and do a lot of research on him.
当然，我们也可以发挥自己的想象，如果是一直和某人相处，我们可以直接说：
I’ve already known him for years. He is my deskmate in high school.
I’ve been working with for at least five years. And we get on so well， like brothers.
I’ve been taking singing class with him since I was ten years old. He is both my classmate and my brother.
